VEHICLE ALERT LEADS TO TWO ARRESTS AT VENTRESS

On Wednesday, May 28, 2026, ADOC K-9 received an alert on a vehicle of interest involved with a trespassing incident on May 11, 2026. K-9 officers and the Barbour County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop on the vehicle close to the intersection of Highway 239 and McCall Road. The driver was identified as Eryana Me ‘Cole Amison and detained for questioning. It was determined there was a second person near the facility associated with her. A trespasser, identified as Terrell Demarion Clements, was located near the facility with a grey plastic bag containing two packages wrapped in black tape. Both suspects were taken into custody by the Law Enforcement Services Division of ADOC.
They were ultimately arrested, transported to the Barbour County Jail, and charged with Promoting Prison Contraband First and Second Degrees and Possession of Marijuana First Degree.
Recovered contraband included:
Approximately 298 grams of marijuana
5 cell phones
5 USB charging cables
1 wall outlet charging block
1 SIM card removal tool.
